Our Trip to the Philly Zoo

We had a wonderful time at the Zoo. I got some great photos of the kids and their friends. Jack and Sophia had a nice time too.We are definitely going to go back again. Lily got her face painted and the kids loved seeing all the animals. The gorillas were just amazing. The swan boat ride was fun and I heard that they only ran aground once because Lily was driving. Oops. Jack and Sophia have been chugging along Sophia now weighs 12.9oz. and I'm sure Jack is up there with her. They are laughing and smiling and loving their new found voices. We are loving them for sleeping through the night.

Here are the Peonies that were from our garden in May. They were so beautiful and I loved having them bloom. I hope to paint these soon. I am thinking of doing some drawings and watercolors of these amazing flowers. I have some roses that I need to take photos of tomorrow. I bought then at Wegmans yesterday. They are wonderful to look at.

Blog Photo

Okay so I am back at my blog again. It took me about 10 different tries to get this how I wanted it. Finally I succeeded. I also was able to get a photo of all the kids this morning for the first time. Jack is hungry now so I will post more later.

April 30,2010

Today is Friday. Really looking forward to the weekend. Max and I went to the park yesterday with the twins. We had a great time even though it was a little cold. We had some snacks and talked a bit while the babies slept. We also had fun running around the playground and having monkey bar contests. Maxie also fell down and wanted me to document his booboo, so that is included as well. Here are some photos from our time at the park. I also included a video I took of Maxie, he had no idea I was filming him. Balancing all the kids is really a challenge, but so rewarding. They are all amazing. I love being able to watch them grow. Yesterday Maxie said to me, "I just want someone to give me a hug." We came home and made some Strawberry Cobbler from Grandpa Don's super recipe. Thanks Grandpa Don!

April 28,2010

Today I have an appointment at the dentist at 8:15. Lily lost her seventh tooth last night and the tooth fairy gave her two dollars and is not allowed to take the tooth as Lily wants to keep a tooth collection yet I am the one who has to keep the teeth in a safe place. So far this is the first one we are keeping. I was hoping to have uploaded these photos last night but I fell fast asleep before I could do it. Okay so these pictures of Lily were taken the other day when she was home from school. We had a nice quite day and took some great photos of the twins which i posted here. Jack and Sophia are smiling a lot now as you can see. Jack is starting to do some baby talk back which is really cute. They both a quite different and amazing to watch. We are having so much fun with them.

The first One

This is my first posting on our blog. I posted a photo of the twins, who were born two months ago. Human life is truly amazing. I will have some new photos to post of the twins and much more. I hope to use this blog for many different things. A lot has changed in our lives in the past couple of months. Sophia and Jack are wonderful little people and we are all giving them lots of love and getting to know them, and they are getting to know us as well. Sophia has been named marshmellow and Princess Sophia by her older brother and sister, Lily and Max. Jack has been dubbed little French Fry and Sir Jack. Today I went back to the gym after six months of not going, boy did that feel good. I have been walking almost every morning with Mark, and it is just such a nice way to start they day.
